元宵燈會閃亮登場踩街遊行超熱鬧

The Lantern Festival, hosted by Kinmen County Bureau of Cultural Affairs, appeared onstage in lively form on the evening of February 17th. County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi, military and related officials hosted the lantern lightning ceremony. After the opening, a lantern carrying and stepping parade started with fascinating lantern activities, such as festive (1) lantern exhibition and lantern riddle gathering, turning the downtown Jincheng into a state for highly animated (2) festivities (3).
　 由金門縣文化局舉辦的元宵燈會活動，17日晚間熱鬧登場；金門縣長李沃士與軍政首長共同主持點燈儀式，隨即展開提燈踩街遊行，以及花燈展、燈謎會的多采多姿元宵活動，炒熱城區熱鬧氣氛。

When giving his speech, Magistrate Li stated that because of the support of President Ma and the central authorities, along with the cooperation of Kinmen fellow citizens and military, each task of the county government has progressed quite smoothly, allowing everyone to see the opportunities for the near-future development of Kinmen. Take the recent Chinese New Year as an example. Under the support of the military and the Ministry of Transportation and Communication, the entire aerial traffic flowed quite freely. Of utmost (4) concern was the improvement of visibility of landing minimum at ShangYi Airport from 1200 meters to 900 meters. Magistrate Li especially thanked all the Kinmenese and wished them good luck.
　 李沃士致詞時表示，由於獲得馬總統與中央部會的支持，及鄉親與軍民的合作，各項縣政工作推動順利，也讓大家看到金門發展的契機。以今年春運為例，有交通部和軍方的支持，整個空中交通十分順暢。機場能見度也在年節前，從一千二百公尺降低為九百公尺。李沃士特別向全體鄉親表達感謝，並祝福大家心想事成，萬事如意！

After the lantern lighting session officially started, Kinmen's Bureau of Cultural Affairs gave away 2,500 Year-of-Rabbit lanterns to the audience. Then the float (5) and lantern carrying parade began. The procession (6) started from Wujiang Academy, making its way through the main streets of Jincheng Township, arousing excitement of the participants in the event. Magistrate Li wished everyone he met along the way a happy new year.
　 燈會正式點燈後，金門文化局現場送出二千五百盞兔年提燈，並展開花車及提燈遊行；遊行隊伍從浯江書院出發，繞行金城鎮市區主要街道，炒熱元宵夜氣氛。李沃士則沿途向民眾拜晚年。

In addition to the grand festivities, this year's lantern festival exhibited 60 traditional Southern-Min festive lanterns from mainland Quanzhou which were filled with Southern-Min atmosphere.
　 此外，今年的燈會也展出六十盞由大陸泉州製作的傳統閩南式花燈，洋溢閩南風情。
