台北春季旅展 李縣長強打金門自由行

The Fifth Taipei Spring Travel Fair (TSTF) began on March 25th and continued until the 28th. Kinmen's participation in the exhibition was led by Yang, Zhen-Wu (楊鎮浯), the head of the Transportation and Tourism Bureau of Kinmen, and Wu, Jia-Jiang (吳嘉獎), President of the county's Association of Travel Agents. Magistrate Li paid a special visit to the exhibit hall to applaud (1) Kinmen firms, and also to look at the display counters of the other participants.
第五屆台北春季旅展二十五日起在世貿一館展售至廿八日。金門縣由縣府交通旅遊局局長楊鎮浯及縣旅行商業同業公會理事長吳嘉獎率隊參展。縣長李沃士28日下午至展場參觀，為金門廠商加油打氣，也觀摩其他參展櫃台。

Magistrate Li stated that Kinmen and Xiamen will cooperate on the facilitation (2) of the individual travelers from Xiamen to visit Kinmen as an extension tour. He stated that on the average there are 30 million tourists that visit Xiamen every year. If 10% (approximately 3 million) of them would like to extend their Xiamen trip to Kinmen and stay overnight, the business opportunities for the local hotels would be unlimited. Besides, Kinmen now has the advantage of being able to provide customers with duty-free goods. It is anticipated that there might be a large number of individual mainland tourists paying special visits to Kinmen just for the real bargains at the DFS.
李縣長表示，金門縣與廈門市將聯手推促遊廈門的旅客「金門遊」衍生旅遊行程，屆時廈門市年旅遊人數三千萬人，如有一成（三百萬人）轉至金門過夜旅遊，金門旅膳宿業者商機無限，尤其金門有可購買免稅品的特免與優勢，預料也會有大批自由行陸客，專程到金門購物賺差價。
Ever Rich Duty Free Shop general manager Wu, Xi-Xian (吳錫顯) expressed in his response that Ever Rich is willing to accommodate (3) Magistrate Li's policy of a duty-free shopping island. The company has already made a successful bid for Little Tai Lake Star-rated Hotel Project. Currently, it is actively pushing forward construction of the hotel. This 13 story, large-scale landmark hotel will integrate a convention center and shopping mall under one roof, and will be completed in two to three years. By that time, with the completion of this hotel, the condition of Kinmen's duty-free shops will have improved, and thus gain a level near that of international acknowledgement.
昇恒昌公司吳錫顯總經理回應表示，非常樂於配合李縣長的金門免稅購物島政策，該公司已標下小太湖的星級旅館案，正積極推動，二、三年內即可落成十三樓高、結合購物商場及會展中心的大型地標型飯店，屆時金門的免稅島將可大步向前，直追國際水準。
