接受泉州媒體專訪李沃士：期待廟會文化在金門發揚光大

Kinmen County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi was interviewed on May 20th with China Quanzhou TV, Quanzhou Southeast Morning Post, and Fujian TV. During the interview, Magistrate Li said that he is hoping Kinmen will become the center of the temple fair culture, featuring the reception of city god event, and the flourishing (1) of folk arts, among all the Greater China Region. He welcomed everyone to visit Kinmen and join in this grand reception of city god next year.
金門縣長李沃士20日接受大陸泉州電視台、泉州東南早報、福建電視台三家媒體記者訪談，李沃士表示，期待兩岸三地迎神廟會文化和民俗藝術，能以金門為平台，加以發揚光大；也歡迎明年大家來金門參與迎城隍盛會。

This year, seven folk art performance groups with more than two hundred members from Quanzhou, China, attended the series of Reception of City God arts and cultural events in Kinmen. While the key theme of the grand event this year happened to be "Back to the Ancients," Quanzhou's folk arts performance harmonized (2) extremely well with the event on this island and together they stunned the audience.
金門迎城隍藝文演出系列活動之中，大陸泉州有七支民俗藝術團、二百多位團員來金門參與演出。而且，今年金門迎城隍活動以復古為主軸，與泉州民俗藝術表演相結合，讓金門鄉親和觀光客感到驚艷。

Magistrate Li pointed out that Kinmen and Quanzhou share the same culture and custom with only minor differences, and he appreciated the participation of the Quanzhou folk arts performance group in the reception of City God event. In the future, he added, the county government will invite some of their senior performance coaches to visit Kimen and provide some guidance and cultural exchange experiences to Kinmen's folk arts culture. He also hoped that Quanzhou fold arts performance groups can visit more often, believing that this will bring positive effects to cross-strait communication. The Kinmen County Government could use their assistance in such matters to display before the world all the greatness contained within Kinmen, such as the home culture of overseas Chinese, traditional Fujian style buildings, and the Government's commitment to preserve the culture.
李沃士說，金門和泉州的風土民情大同小異，感謝泉州民俗藝術表演團配合迎城隍活動來金參與演出。他說，未來將邀請泉州師傅來金門指導，與金門的民俗藝術文化相結合。李沃士也希望泉州民俗藝術表演團體多來展演，相信對兩岸交流非常有幫助，盼望兩地共同努力，讓海外也能看得到金門僑鄉、閩南建築文化，也看到金門對文化保存的努力。
