Kinmen County Mayor Li, Wo-Shih traveled to Taiwan Island for attending the centennial anniversary celebration event, "Sports Island", yesterday. Mayor Li also announced that the "Miraculous (1) Centennial Anniversary-National Frontline (2) Sports Civil Personnel Award Ceremony" will be held in Kinmen on Sept. 3rd. He also reminded publicly that Kinmen will host the 3rd-Term Kinmen-Xiamen Cross-Strait Swim Marathon and the 9th-term Liaoluo Bay Swim Marathon on July 29th and 30th respectively. Mayor Li sincerely invites sportsmen and tourists to attend those two events in Kinmen and enjoy the globally famous Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor.

For celebrating centennial national anniversary, it will hold 4 consecutive big sports events in this September by "Republic of China Sports Federation" directed by the "Sports Affairs Council", Executive Yuan. The first event is exactly the "Miraculous Centennial Anniversary-National Frontline Sports Civil Personnel Award Ceremony" hosted by Kinmen County on Sept. 3rd.

County Mayor Li, Wo-Shih led County Education Bureau Director Li, Chai-Hung (李再杭), and Chief Secretary Yang, Chung-Chiang (楊忠強) to present in the press conference. Mayor Li stated that Kinmen County does honor hosting this annual "National Frontline Sports Civil Personnel Award Ceremony"! Mayor Li also aspires (3) for strengthening Kinmen County's sports competitiveness amid the sparse (4) population. Kinmen County owns excellent sports environment and has been endeavoring (5) to sports promotion. Swim professionals and hobbyists from not only the two cross-strait sides but also from all around the world will attend this incoming the 3rd Kinmen-Xiamen Cross-Strait Swim Marathon on July 29th. More than 1,000 people will also attend another grand event, the "9th-term Liaoluo Bay Swim Marathon" on July 30th.

County Mayor Li, Wo-Shi said that Kinmen owns perfect geography for holding Island Circular Marathon and biking race. Especially, traveling to Kinmen can enjoy duty-free shopping without travelling abroad. There have already duty-free shops in Kinmen downtown available for tourists. Mayor Li welcomes all sports professionals and enthusiasts to attend the two incoming grand sports events for promoting the sport prevalence (6) in Kinmen. Mayor Li is very confident with whoever ever travels to Kinmen will fall in love with Kinmen.

The 4 serial centennial national anniversary celebration events include the "National Frontline Sports Civil Personnel Award Ceremony" held on Sept. 3rd in Kinmen, followed by the "National Dance Arts Exhibition", Sept. 10th, in Taichung City, the "National Juvenile Swim Race" on Sept. 10th, in Changhua County, and finally the "National Exercise Walking Event"on Oct. 8th, in Keelung City.
