金門大橋過關名列十大新聞之首

As 2010 comes to an end, Kinmen Daily News looked back and invited readers to vote for the top 10 news of 2010. Among all, the top three readers' favorite news included: "Kinmen Bridge Proposal Received Approval by Council for Economic Planning and Development (CEPD) in February", "Start Construction for Kinmen Hospital United Medical Building", and "Taiwan City Gods Gathering in Kinmen".
回顧即將過去的2010年，本報透過票選，徵選出今年的年度十大新聞，其中「金門大橋」今年2月初獲經建會審查通過，以及「金門綜合醫療大樓動土」、「全台城隍來金共襄盛舉」等三則新聞，最受讀者矚目，成為年度十大新聞的前三名。

經過票選產生的2010年本報年度十大新聞，按得票高低如下：

1.Construction Plan of Kinmen Bridge Proposal Passed by CEPD. The project is planned to start at the end of the year. As the "Construction Plan of Kinmen Bridge" was reviewed and approved by CEPD, Executive Yuan on February 28th 2010, the proposal for this project has been finalized. Kinmen County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi together with Minister without Portfolio and also the Fujian Provincial Governor Xue, Cheng-Tai (薛承泰) have diligently (1) fought many times appealing to Executive Yuan and related authorities for their approval of this proposal. The county government is now working proactively (2) to prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony and all related details.
一、經建會審查通過金門大橋建設計畫預定年底動工：
2010年2月8日，「金門大橋建設計畫」經行政院經建會審議通過，大橋終於定案。縣長李沃士曾多次親上火線，結合金門出身的行政院政務委員兼福建省政府主席薛承泰，向行政院及相關部會爭取。目前縣府正積極籌備動工典禮等相關細節。

2.The groundbreaking of Kinmen Hospital United Medical Building started on October 11th, 2010 with construction estimated to be completed in 2012. In order to meet the satisfaction of Kinmen fellow citizens, and to look ahead to transforming into the Cross-strait medical hub (3), Kinmen Hospital will strive to upgrade to a regional hospital.
二、金門綜合醫療大樓2010年10月11日動土，預定2012年完工，將爭取升格區域型醫院，滿足金門鄉親需求，並放眼對岸成為兩岸醫療中心。

3.All City Gods from Taiwan Gathering in Kinmen for Processions. "Memorial of the 330th year of Island Wu's City God's Migration into Hou-Pu" Create a Never- before-seen Display
With 2010 marked as the 330th year of "Island Wu's City God's Migration into Hou-Pu", County government decided to hold the event on a larger scale to create a unique cultural flavor for the local tourism. On May 25th, which was the exact memorial day, all 26 city gods from Taiwan came to Kinmen to join this spectacular event to reinforce the significance of this special day and also to add joy and sparkle to this festival.
三、全台城隍來金共襄盛舉，浯島邑主遷治330週年巡安遶境盛況空前：
「浯島邑主城隍遷治」2010年適逢330週年紀念，縣府為營造地方觀光與文化特色，特別將活動擴大舉辦。5月25日遷治紀念當天，還特別邀來全國26尊城隍爺來金共襄盛舉，彼此相互輝映，為熱鬧精彩的廟慶帶來驚喜與感動。


4. KKL Held New Employees Recruitment in November 2010. The recruitment was overwhelmed with a flood of job applicants. During the audition process, issues were raised by the public due to the sudden alterations of the examination regulation. KKL admitted fault and will take this as a lesson learned which will be considered in the next round
四、金酒2010年11月招考員工報名擠破頭。甄選過程因考試規則修正，引發民眾質疑。金酒公司坦承疏失，將列為下次改進之參考。

5.Splendid Events-KMIT To Upgrade into NQU on August 1st, 2010
With the final push made by County Magistrate and Council Speaker, KMIT was able to upgrade to National Quemoy University, bringing a new chapter to the history of higher education in Kinmen. Minister of MOE confirmed that there will be no limitation in number of Mainland students recruited by National Quemoy University.
五、百年盛事-金門大學2010年8月1日閃亮揭牌：縣長、議長4月13日踢上臨門一腳，促成美事，也為金門高等教育史寫下新頁。教育部長則宣示，金大招收陸生將不受名額限制。

6. In the year 2009, Kinmen, Xiamen, and Quanzhou, where "Mini-Three-Links" is implemented, has exceeded one million annual passengers for the first time in its history.
六、2009年金、廈、泉小三通客運量突破百萬，創歷史新高。

7. Step forward to becoming a low-carbon island-Kinmen is selected as one of the first. Going forward, Central government will work together with the local government to build Kinmen into a LOHAS island that embraces a low-carbon and green lifestyle. This decision has had a deep and long-lasting impact on Kinmen. Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi takes this subject extremely serious and has requested each unit to engage in this effort to create a unique local style.
七、打造低碳島，金門獲選為首波實施縣市：未來低碳、綠能、樂活島等，將成為中央結合地方共同努力的建設方向。對金門的影響性既深且遠。縣長李沃士對此亦備極重視，要求各單位全力發展地方特色。

8. The qualified list of issuing "Installation Permit of DFS" was out on October 5th. This has enabled Kinmen to take the first step towards being a "Duty Free Island".
八、設置許可名單10月5日出爐，免稅島，金門邁出第一步。

9.Sorghum Tassel (4) Becomes Winning Shape in Kinmen Bridge Design Ballot. The National Expressway Engineering Bureau, MOTC, will engage in the subsequent bridge design based upon the voting results.
九、金門大橋造型票選，高粱穗心方案勝出：將請國工局依據該方案進行大橋後續設計。

10.A telecommunication disconnection unexpectedly took place between Taiwan and Kinmen on the afternoon of December 8th, causing the booking of airline tickets for the Chinese New Year to be postponed. As a result, NCC later coordinated the involved parties to implement a compensation plan for this incident.
十、台金網路2010年12月8日下午突然發生斷訊事件，春節航線訂位被迫延期。國家通訊委員會特別邀集通訊業者協商，推出減價補償措施。
