遠航完成飛航測試李縣長盼春節前復飛趕上疏運旅客

After being suspended for two years, Far Eastern Air Transport (FEA) finished flight tests to and from Taipei and Kaohsiung from offshore islands. The process went smoothly. Many Kinmen fellows were very concerned with the results of the flight tests as they hoped FEA could join the offshore operation soon so crowded offshore air flight conditions will be alleviated (1) during Chinese New Year.
停業兩年多的遠東航空，2日完成北高和離島航線的飛航測試，過程順利，許多金門鄉親也非常關心，希望遠航儘快加入離島營運，紓解過年離島航空一位難求的狀況。

An FEA MD83 Jetliner numbered B-28025, piloted by He, Zong-Yuan (何宗原) and Huang, Ting-Gan (黃廷幹), took off from Taipei Son-Shan Airport at 8:30 the morning of December 2rd. They arrived at Kaohsiung International Airport, then transferred to Penghu Magong Airport, and eventually reached Kinmen Shangyi Airport at 10:54. The flight crew members kept the cabin (2) secured, and remained on the airplane, waving to the airline staff on the ground. The airplane then took off again and returned to Taipei at 11:07, successfully completing the flight test.
遠航編號B-28025號、MD83型噴射客機由飛行員何宗原、黃廷幹擔任駕駛，於2日上午8時30分從台北松山機場起飛，飛抵高雄小港機場、再轉往澎湖馬公機場，並於十時五十四分抵達金門尚義機場，機組人員並未開艙下機，在機上與遠航員工揮手致意，隨即於上午11時07分又起飛返回台北，順利完成這次航路試飛。

Among all airline companies, FEA was the first to open up and run the Taiwan-Kinmen air route in October of 1987. Because of the financial crisis within the company, FEA has been ordered to suspend its air and shipping services since May of 2008 until now. As the FEA passenger flight returned to Kinmen, some very eager passengers watched from the sightseeing stand, hoping that the FEA could join the offshore air route operation as soon as possible.
遠航是在民國76年10月首先開闢台金航線，97年5月間因爆發財務危機而停航迄今，遠航客機重回金門，一些旅客非常關心從觀景台目睹，希望遠航儘快加入離島航線營運。

Magistrate Li stated that FEA was the first civilian airliner in Kinmen and Kinmen fellows also have strong feelings for the airline company and expect it to restore its normal operation by Chinese New Year to provide more flights for passengers returning home.
縣長李沃士歡迎遠航重回金門，他說，遠航是第一家飛航金門的航空公司，鄉親有感情，期盼能在春節前復飛，趕上輸運返鄉過年旅客。

It has been acknowledged that FEA's return could start with the Kinmen and Magong air routes before Chinese New Year. This would alleviate the crowded conditions of offshore air flights.
據了解遠東航空復航，希望最快能在春節前開航金門、馬公等國內航線，紓解過年離島航空一位難求的狀況。
