史博館正式開館

Kinmen Cultural Park History and Folk Museum officially opened on December 25th. The museum is divided into six thematic (1) subareas (2) exhibiting the history of Kinmen's local life. Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi stated that he expects more collections to continually be added to the museum, thus turning the museum into a spotlight of cross-strait cultural relic interaction and, boosting (3) the commercial opportunities in eastern Kinmen.
金門縣文化園區歷史民俗博物館25日正式開館，分六大主題區展示金門地方生活歷史。縣長李沃士期盼未來要持續加強館藏，成為兩岸文物交流的亮點，並活化東半島商機。

Magistrate Li indicated in his speech at the opening ceremony of the History & Folk Museum, that the establishment of this museum in Kinmen's Cultural Park symbolized a significant breakthrough for Jinsha and eastern Kinmen. He encouraged the Cultural Affairs Bureau to continue strengthening its preservation and protection of the museum collections, and to publicize (4) Kinmen's cultural assets through marketing. Li also planned to integrate the nearby college campus and Jin-Gui-shan's scenic spot to facilitate the development of tourism on the east side of the island.
縣長李沃士在史博館開幕啟用儀式上致詞表示，設置在金門文化園區裡的歷史民俗博物館，象徵了縣府對金沙乃至金門東半島發展的重大突破，他勉勵文化局持續加強園區館藏及文物保護，並透過行銷來宣揚金門文化資產，未來還要結合鄰近的大學用地與金龜山風景區，帶動東半島的觀光發展。

Kinmen Cultural Park's construction started in December, 2001. The total expenditure of the construction amounted to 800,000,000 NT. On the opening day of the History and Folk Museum, masses of people were invited to visit the museum. The Cultural Affairs Bureau commented that the museum could serve as a student learning classroom and a sound (5) local culture teaching resource. Museum hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an intermittent (6) break from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. The museum will be closed every Monday. 金門文化園區於九十年十二月動工，前後共耗資約新台幣八億元打造，歷史民俗博物館開館當天，吸引大批民眾前往參觀。文化局表示，史博館可作為學生學習教室，也是良好的鄉土教材。開放時間為每日上午九時三十分至下午五時，中午十二時下午一時三十分休息；星期一休館，參觀及相關展覽查詢可洽351030。
