夏艷金門海洋風明開幕熱鬧可期

The 2011 summer activity series in Kinmen will be opening tomorrow (July 2nd), and unveil over a month long of exciting activities. The Transportation and Tourism Bureau, Kinmen County says that this activity series is the climax of summer travel in Kinmen, and that tourists are welcome to take part in the activities and enjoy the blue skies, green waters and white beaches of Kinmen.
　 2011夏艷金門海洋風系列活動將於七月二日開幕，展開長達一個月多采多姿活動，縣府交通旅遊局說，夏艷金門海洋風活動為金門暑期旅遊的重頭戲，歡迎觀光客參加，享受藍天、碧海、白沙灘的金門。

The Transportation and Tourism Bureau indicated that the opening ceremony would be at 6:30 tomorrow night in the Jinhu Chengkung beach outfall square, programs include dance performances of indigenous (1) tribes, and the finals of a singing competition, in which famous singers Lo Shih-Feng, Huang Si-Ting, Chang Rong-Rong and Li Ming-Yang were invited to give the audience a very different night at Kinmen.
　 交旅局表示，夏艷金門海洋風活動開幕式在明天晚上六時三十分，在金湖成功海灘出海口廣場舉辦，節目包括原住民舞蹈表演、歌唱大賽決賽，並邀請知名歌星羅時豐、黃思婷、張蓉蓉、李明洋等助陣，準備帶給民眾不一樣的夏艷金門夜晚。

The Transportation and Tourism Bureau indicated that summer activities would include a competition of bands from three places across the Taiwan Strait, thousand man treasure hunt, sand sculpture competition, parent-child sand painting and shell DIY, Venus (2) clam representative selection, beach volleyball competition, beach grid, and canoe.
　 交旅局表示，夏艷金門海洋風活動包括兩岸三地樂團PK賽、千人尋找沙中仙、沙雕大賽、親子沙畫及貝類DIY、花蛤仙子選拔，沙灘排球賽、沙灘九宮格、獨木舟等沙灘與水上遊憩活動。

To attract more Taiwanese tourists to participate in the activities in Kinmen, the Transportation and Tourism Bureau indicated that the county government cooperated with Lion Travel Service in offering a travel package featuring the clam season, which comes with free tickets to experience beach and water activities, gifts, specialty products, and discounts for hostels and restaurants, hoping to fire up tourism in Kinmen.
　 為歡迎更多台灣遊客到金門參加，交旅局表示，縣府與雄獅旅遊合作推出「金好康」金彩一夏金門花蛤季主題行程，有沙灘及水上活動免費體驗券、伴手禮，以及特產、民宿、餐飲購物等優待，希望炒熱夏日金門旅遊。

The Transportation and Tourism Bureau says that the summer activities this year have been expanded, and the band competition is now accepting registration, student bands and music lovers are welcome to participate in the competition, where they can use their creativity, show their passion and create a new heaven for bands from three places across the Taiwan Strait!
　 交旅局說，夏艷金門海洋風系列活動今年也擴大舉辦多項活動，其中兩岸三地樂團PK賽已開始受理報名，歡迎各大專院校學生樂團或是愛好音樂的夥伴們，組團來金門參加，一起享受發揮創意、熱情洋溢、揮灑青春色彩的快感，打造兩岸三地最新的樂團天堂！

The Transportation and Tourism Bureau pointed out that Kinmen's coast areas have beautiful scenery, and clams nurtured on the beaches are well known sea food delicacies to locals. The Bureau hopes that the activities will let tourists personally experience ocean resources and the rich and precious natural ecology, and also that the development and promotion of beach activities will let people enjoy the beauty of nature under the hot summer sun.
　 交旅局指出，金門海岸風景豔麗，海灘上蘊育花蛤，為當地民眾眾所週知的海鮮美食；希望藉由活動，讓旅客親身體驗海洋資源及豐富珍貴的自然生態，也藉由沙灘活動的開發與推展，讓民眾在炎炎夏日裡，自由享受大自然之美。

Additionally, there are "Long Distance Swim" and "Swim Across Kinmen-Xiamen Strait" activities at Kinmen's Liaolou Bay on July 26th, anyone who is interested and up for the challenge is welcome to take part.
　 此外，在七月廿六日在金門料羅灣尚有「海上長泳」及「泳渡金廈海域」的活動，也歡迎有興趣及勇於挑戰的朋友一起參加。

The Transportation and Tourism Bureau hopes that more backpackers will come to Kinmen to experience the southern Min old houses, battlefield tunnels, and drink the mellow (3) Kinmen kaoliang. The Bureau also welcomes everyone to participate in the 2011 summer activities in Kinmen, to enjoy Kinmen's beautiful beaches, and promote Kinmen's vitality and wine to the world.
　 縣府交旅局希望更多背包客可以來感受金門的閩南式古厝、戰地古道以及香甜甘醇的金門高粱酒，也歡迎全國民眾一起來金門參與2011夏艷金門海洋風系列活動，讓我們一起把金門美麗的海灘、熱情的活力和香甜的美酒推廣至全世界。
