Taiwanese boxer Lin Yu-ting (林郁婷) yesterday announced that she has accepted an invitation from Sports Administration to be the nation’s anti-bullying ambassador and would also teach as an assistant professor of the Department of Physical Education in Chinese Culture University starting in the upcoming semester.

　　台灣拳擊手林郁婷昨天宣布，她接受國家體育總局邀請，擔任國家反霸凌大使，並於下學期開始擔任中國文化大學體育系助理教授。

　　Lin, the Olympic champion, who won a gold medal in the women's 57kg (featherweight) division, and other Taiwanese athletes who competed at the Paris Olympics returned to Taiwan on Tuesday (Aug. 13) and was welcomed warmly by fans and government officials at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Their EVA Airways Flight BR88 was accompanied by three F-16 jets, which also fired thermal bombs to salute them.

　　獲得女子羽量級57公斤拳擊金牌的奧運冠軍林郁婷和其他參加巴黎奧運的台灣運動員週二（8月13日）返回台灣，在台灣桃園國際機場受到粉絲和政府官員的熱烈歡迎。他們所搭乘的長榮航空BR88航班由三架 F-16噴射機陪同，並施放熱焰彈向他們致敬。

　　Upon Lin's triumphant return to Taiwan, Deputy Education Minister Chang Liao Wan-Chien (張廖萬堅) announced that Lin will be appointed an anti-bullying Public Welfare Ambassador to help promote a national anti-bullying campaign. Lin will also serve as an assistant professor at Chinese Culture University's Department of Physical Education, where she will teach boxing and specialized sports training in the coming semester, said university president Wang Tzu-chi (王子奇), who greeted Lin on her arrival at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Lin would also begin pursuing a doctoral degree in sports next month and the university also plans to support her continued participation in competitions as an athlete, he revealed.

　　林凱旋返回台灣後，教育部副部長張廖萬堅宣布任命林為反霸凌公益大使幫助推動全國反霸凌運動。校長王子奇在林抵達台灣接桃園國際機場接機時表示，下學期，林將擔任中國文化大學體育系助理教授，教授拳擊和專項運動訓練。他也透露，林也將在下個月開始攻讀體育博士學位，學校並計劃支持她繼續作為運動員參賽。

　　Lin has progressed from undergraduate to master's studies and joined the faculty. She is a full-time assistant professor in the Department of Physical Education and will begin her doctoral studies in August. Lin's gold medal is Taiwan's first Olympic boxing gold medal and that she is the fifth Olympic medalist from the university. With her Olympic gold medal, she could be promoted to associate professor as early as the next academic year. “We will fully support Lin in her pursuit for another gold at the Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028,”Wang said.

　　林郁婷已從本科升任為碩士且已加入教師團隊，現為體育系全職助理教授並將於八月研讀博士。她的金牌是台灣首枚奧運拳擊金牌，也是該校第五位奧運獎牌得主。憑藉奧運金牌，她最早可以在下個學年晉升為副教授。「我們將全力支持林郁婷在2028年洛杉磯夏季奧運會上再奪一枚金牌，」王說。

　　Lin told the press she was honored to be called "daughter of Taiwan" and aspires to be a good role model for everyone and "be my own light to shine on others and in places where it has been dark. I hope to share strength and warmth in those places." The university also mentioned Lin has spent many years to nurture boxing talent in New Taipei Municipal Yingge Junior High School and New Taipei Municipal Yingge Vocational High School. With Lin's addition, the university will strengthen its partnership with these schools which collaborated with Lin, hoping to cultivate more outstanding Taiwanese boxers.

　　林郁婷告訴媒體，她很榮幸被稱為「台灣女兒」，並渴望成為每個人的好榜樣，「成為自己的光，照亮他人和黑暗的地方。我希望與大家分享力量和溫暖」。校方也表示，林多年來已在新北市立鶯歌國中與新北市立鶯歌職業高中培育拳擊人才。隨著林的加入，學校將與加強這些與林合作學校的夥伴關係，希望培養出更多優秀的台灣拳擊手。
