公共工程委員會主委來金勘查大橋工程

Fan, Liang-Xiu (范良銹), Minister of Public Construction Commission (PCC), traveled to Kinmen on August 27th, received the important construction briefs from the Kinmen County Government, and inspected the construction site of the Kinmen Bridge. Fan mentioned that the Kinmen Bridge is one of the major construction projects countrywide; thus, the PCC will help to control the quality and security of the bridge construction. The idea of recruiting (1) funds and laborers from China still needs research and evaluation by relevant central authorities.
　 行政院公共工程委員會主任委員范良銹，8月27日前進金門，聽取縣府重大工程簡報，並前往金門大橋興建預定地現勘。他表示，金門大橋是指標性的國家重大建設，將做好工程品質和安全把關，至於縣府建議引進陸商、陸工參與，則還要請相關部會評估。

Fan stated that the project of the Kinmen Bridge was approved by Executive Yuan on March 19th, 2010, and that the relevant budget would be arranged by Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MOTC). There is no doubt that the Kinmen Bridge will be built. He said that the basic-design should be finished by September 15th and then the detail-designing would begin. In addition, he reminded the county government that there are numerous things that need to be done including the acquisition (2) of the land-ownership (3) of the construction site, evaluation of related procedures involved the Kinmen National Park, and development of the environmental impact assessment. Fan wanted the county government to accelerate (4) the process in order to reach the expected goal of starting construction by the end of this year. Fan emphasized that with the importance of the construction of Kinmen Bridge, planning should be done carefully and with great precision to produce the ultimate goal of making it the pride for both Kinmenese and Taiwanese.
　 范良銹表示，金門大橋建設計畫，今年三月十九日已由行政院核定，相關預算將由交通部編列，絕對會把橋建起來。目前大橋的基本設計預定九月十五日完成，再進入細部設計，另有大金門端施工用地的取得，以及牽涉國家公園範圍土地，環境影響評估等作業，還要加緊腳步，朝預定目標（年底前動工）努力。但范良銹強調，建橋是百年大計，務必要讓大橋成為金門人的驕傲，更是國人的驕傲。
Kinmen County Government stated that in the building plan of the Kinmen Bridge approved by Executive Yuan, the length of the route would be 5.4 km with the span (5) across the sea being 4.6 km, producing a large span extra-dosed (6) bridge. The budget range for construction is 5 ~ 5.7 billion NT. Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi plans to seek the support from the central authority, and to open the way for China contractors and laborers to participate in construction in order to cut expenses.
　 金門縣政府指出，行政院核定的金門大橋建設計畫，是由大金門湖下連接小金門后頭，路線長約五點四公里，其中跨海部分約四點六公里，規劃為大跨徑的脊背橋，工程經費約新台幣五十億至五十七億元。縣長李沃士則爭取中央支持，專案開放引進陸商、陸工參與大橋建設，以節省經費。
