廈門第六屆旅博會金門館揭幕

The 6th Cross-Strait Travel Fair and the 14th China International Fair for Investment & Trade was inaugurated (1) on September 8th in Xiamen City. Kinmen County Government was not absent from these grand events. A Kinmen pavilion was also set up in the Travel Fair and the grand opening ceremony successfully captured the attention of the crowds and the mass media.
第十四屆中國國際投資貿易洽談會、第六屆海峽旅遊博覽會旅遊精品展8日在廈門市盛大揭幕，金門縣也沒缺席，在旅博會設置了金門館，還舉行盛大開幕儀式，成功吸引人潮與媒體的目光。

In his address during the opening ceremony, County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi commented on the rich natural resources, ancient historical buildings, and unique war relics that characterize Kinmen, and welcomed everyone to visit Kinmen to enjoy the scenic beauty.
縣長李沃士在致詞時表示，金門有豐富的自然生態、悠久的歷史建築與獨特的戰爭遺跡，歡迎大家都能到金門一窺島上美麗的風光。

Additionally, the sponsor of the 6th Cross-Strait Travel Fair had arranged a signing ceremony for major tourism development projects on September 8th. Corporation agreements for eighteen projects were signed during the Travel Fair. The joint venture of the Xiamen Tourism Group and the Jin-bao-lai Hotel (to reconstruct the hotel) was among them.
　 此外，第六屆海峽旅遊博覽會主辦單位8日也安排重點旅遊項目簽約儀式，共有十八個重大旅遊項目在會中完成簽約，其中廈門旅遊集團合資改建金門金寶來飯店也是其中之一。

Jin-bao-lai Hotel's Chairman Wu, Jia-Jiang (吳嘉獎) stated that both sides will cooperate in the future reconstruction of the Jin-bao-lai Hotel, turning it into the first four-star hotel in Kinmen with over 160 rooms. They will be shareholders (2), and operate the hotel together. This was the first time two cross-strait entities would mutually manage a hotel. Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi and Council Speaker Wang, Zai-Sheng were invited on stage, in the company of several ministers and provincial-level officials from mainland China, to witness the signing ceremony for the eighteen tourism development projects.
　 金寶來飯店董事長吳嘉獎表示，未來雙方將共同合作，改建成金門第一家擁有一百六十多間房間的四星級飯店，採共同持股、共同經營模式，成為首個兩岸共同經營飯店的範例。縣長李沃士、議長王再生兩人也獲邀上台，與大陸多位相關部門首長、省級幹部共同見證十八個重大旅遊投資案的簽約儀式。
