馬總統李縣長共贈文藝界人士金酒

Centering on the theme of passing down the wisdom of artists and writers, and reconstructing artists' morale, coupled with (1) the emphasis on respect for the elders, a banquet hosted by the WenHsun Magazine took place in Banquet Room 201 in National Taiwan Hospital's International Convention Center. President Ma, Ying-Jiu and County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi gave the "ninety-nine Chong Yang" memorial liquor to the attending artists and writers that were 65 years and older where both Ma and Li received a warm welcome.
以「薪傳文藝智慧，重建文藝倫理」為宗旨，結合「敬老、尊老」意義，由文訊雜誌社主辦的「文藝雅集」餐會，14日上午在台大醫院國際會議中心201宴會廳舉行。總統馬英九、金門縣長李沃士，共同致贈一款「九九重陽」紀念酒給與會65歲以上資深文藝界人士，受到熱烈歡迎。

The gathering of artists and writers has been hosted consistently for 22 years, becoming a grand national annual event for artists and writers. This year the artists' gathering coincided with the Chongyang Holiday. WenHsun Magazine continued the routine and hosted the banquet. It had invited 300 people who are at least 65 years old, from the art circles of literature, music, drama, arts, and traditional arts. The magazine also put forward (2) a special nostalgic (3) exhibition, which displayed literary works, paintings, photography, sculptures, clay models, lanterns, puppets, and kites, etc. Kinmen Daily News also published a special issue of participation which was distributed at the banquet free of charge.
「文藝雅集」已持續舉辦22年，儼然已成全國藝文界年度盛會。今年適逢民國99年農曆9月9日重陽佳節，文訊雜誌社按慣例，14日舉行這項餐會，邀請300位年滿65歲的文學、音樂、戲劇、美術、傳統藝術等資深藝文界人士共聚一堂，並配合推出「風華再現聯合特展」，展出內容包括文學作品、書畫、攝影、雕刻、陶藝、燈籠、戲偶、風箏等藝術作品。《金門日報》特別製作特刊，以贈報方式參與協辦。

During the banquet, President Ma expressed that much of the nationalism (4) education came from the influence of novels and artistic activities. Therefore, he was very supportive of the Cultural and Creative Industry. He said that what he had done included changing the Executive Yuan's Council for Cultural Affairs into the Ministry of Culture, legislation of the Cultural and Creative Law, inviting Vic- President Xiao to host six Cultural and Creation round-table forums. According to President Ma, the main purpose of these actions is to fight piracy (5), and protect the copyright of arts and literature works. Ma also encouraged artists and writers to play a more active role in cultural interaction facilitation (6) to make the Republic of China a respectable and progressive country.
馬英九在餐會中表示，許多民族精神教育其實都來自小說與文藝活動的浸染，因此自上任以來對文化、創意產業相當支持，包括行政院文建會改制為文化部，《文創法》的立法，以及委請蕭副總統主持6次文創圓桌論壇，主要目的在打擊山寨，保護文藝創作。他期勉文藝界人士積極扮演「文化交流推動者」角色，共同朝「文化立國」目標努力，讓中華民國成為受人尊敬、讓人感動的國家。

At this special banquet, President Ma specifically introduced the memorial liquor. By referring to the last character of his name, Jiu, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, and Chongyang Holiday together, President Ma wished the attending artists and writers continued success in creating their works, and the enjoyment of a happy life
馬英九也在餐會上特別介紹這瓶紀念酒，結合他的名字馬英「九」、金酒，以及今年的九九年九月初九重陽節，藉此祝願在座文藝界前輩「創作久久、福壽久久」。
