《金門學研討會》李縣長：學術深耕讓金門發光發熱

At the "2010 Third Kinmenology (1) Academic Seminar," Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi expressed his expectation of Kinmen to shine in every corner of the world through the deepened plowing and irrigation (2) of academia (3) in Kinmenology.
　 「2010第三屆金門學學術研討會」13日起一連舉行兩天。縣長李沃士期盼透過學術領域的深耕與灌溉，讓金門在世界各角落發光發熱。

The Third Kinmenology Academic Seminar invited scholars from Taiwan, Mainland, and Kinmen to participate in the event, during which, five seminars were held, 15 papers were given out, and several specialists were invited to give comments. Magistrate Li emphasized in the opening ceremony that if a city wants to shine in the world, history and academic research would play an important role. He hoped that the Kinmenology-academic research on Kinmen, can be converted into a real contribution to Kinmen.
　 此次第三屆金門學學術研討會廣邀台灣、大陸及金門本地學者參與，共舉行五場共15篇論文發表，並安排專家進行講評。李縣長在開幕式中強調，一個城巿要在世界上發光發熱，歷史及學術研究扮演了重要角色；他期盼「金門學」的學術研究能轉化為對金門的實質貢獻。

In his speech entitled "Dialectic (4) on Globalization and Regionalism," Chen, Qi-Nan (陳其南), ex-chairman of the Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan, discussed globalization and the development of regional industries. He pointed out that cultural creativity will bring commercial opportunities and development to the country, thus creating jobs. He also emphasized that since the role of cultural landscape is very important, new life should be endowed (5) to develop regional industries.
　 曾任文建會主委的陳其南，特別以「全球化趨勢與地方主義的辯證」為題進行專題演講，暢談全球化與地方產業發展。他指出，文化創意衍生出的商機，可以為國家帶來發展，創造就業機會；他強調，文化景觀的角色非常重要，應重新賦予新生命，並發展成地方產業。
