拚觀光李縣長盼軍方適度開放大二膽

During the Spring Session, Army Commanding Officer, General Yang, Tian- Xiao (楊天嘯), along with the Director of Political Warfare, Lieutenant General Zheng, Ruei-Jian (鄭瑞堅), arrived in Kinmen on the 13th for troop inspection. As Yang was too busy inspecting troops from every branch, he specifically commissioned Zheng to be a representative to the county government and to show special gratitude towards County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi for Li's cooperation and long term support of the military.
　 春節將屆，陸軍司令部司令楊天嘯上將13日率同政戰主任鄭瑞堅中將到金門視導部隊，由於楊天嘯忙於各部隊視察，特別委請鄭瑞堅代表前往縣府拜會李沃士，感謝李縣長長期對軍方的支持與配合。

Magistrate Li specifically explained that President Ma, Ying-Jiu came to Kinmen to preside over the Kinmen Bridge groundbreaking ceremony on January 9th, and President Ma is especially concerned about the development of tourism in Kinmen, and the releasing of military resources to meet those needs. Magistrate Li mentioned that he told the President that opening Tai Wu Mountain's Qing Tian Hall for visitors won a great response from residents, and believes that it is the best setting for national defense education. Even though visiting hours for the Qing Tian Hall are only on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and on Saturday, he hopes the military will consider extending the hours.
李沃士特別說明馬總統9日到金門主持金門大橋工程開工動土典禮，十分關心金門的觀光發展，及軍事資源釋出配合觀光情形。李沃士提到，他還告訴總統，太武山擎天廳開放參訪，獲得民眾很好的反應，認為是最好的全民國防教育場所，但現在開放時間為每週二、四上午及週六，希望軍方能檢討加大密度。

Magistrate Li also expressed that since Da-Dan and Er-Dan Islands are "virgin territory" for all tourists, he suggested to President Ma that he hopes to see these islands opened to domestic visitors under the conditions that tourism does not affect military readiness. Li believes that the opening policy will add resources for the tourism industry in Kinmen.
　 李沃士並表示，第一線的大、二膽島為觀光處女地，他也向總統建議，希望軍方在不影響戰備任務下，開放國人登島參訪，相信能為金門增添觀光資源。
