要求機票降價李沃士拜會航空公司

County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi, accompanied by Director of Transportation and Tourism Bureau, Yang, Zhen-wu (楊鎮浯) and some other county government officers, visited three airline companies, Uni Air, Mandarin Airlines, and TransAsia Airways, on March 3rd, delivering the message that people in Kinmen are expecting the airfare to be more affordable. They've also asked the three airline companies to support the county government tourism promotion plan, which combines B&B (1), hotels, local specialties, and duty free shopping into one package-"The Best Bargain to Visit Kinmen" which offers special discounts to travelers. The responses from the three airlines indicated that while it has already been a challenge to maintain the current rates for so many years, the recent oil price increase leaves virtually (2) no room for lowering the prices. However, they would be happy to co-operate with any requests from the county government regarding the promotion of tourism.
　 縣長李沃士3日率縣府交通旅遊局長楊鎮浯等人，專程赴台拜會立榮、華信、復興等三家航空公司，表達縣民要求降低票價心聲，也請三家航空公司配合縣府觀光促銷活動，結合金門民宿、旅館、特產、免稅精品店業者，共同包裝「純金」旅遊特惠之旅。三家航空公司主管則表示，油價節節高漲，現行票價又多年未調整，實在難有降價空間，至於縣府所提各項活動，業者都樂於配合。

During the meeting, Magistrate Li gave special thanks to all three airline companies for their great support during the Spring Festival travel season. It is very likely that the policy for allowing individual travelers from China to visit Taiwan via Mini-Three-Links will be ready by April, said Li, and that it will bring in a cash injection, making this a very promising year for Kinmen's tourism industry. The county government will also try to work together with all the business owners of B&B, hotels, local specialties shops, and duty free shops to make the most of all the available tourism resources. The airline companies can provide their support by lowering the price during the off-peak hours and seasons, or offering tour packages of great value when there are major events going on. All of these will help in creating an "All-Win" situation.
　 會談中，李縣長特別感謝三家航空公司對今年春運的大力協助。他表示，今年金門將衝刺觀光旅遊業，尤其小三通陸客自由行可能於四月成行，屆時商機無限；縣府也將設法結合金門的民宿、旅館、特產、免稅精品店業者，把觀光的餅作大，屆時希望航空公司也能配合，例如淡季或離峰時段降低票價，遇大型活動規劃專案優惠套裝行程，共同創造「多贏」的結果。

All three airline companies have expressed their willingness to support the proposals raised by Magistrate Li, including cooperative promotion and cross-industry collaboration (3), and also providing some ideas and constructive advice on this matter. Mandarin Airlines proposes allowing the selling of duty free goods on the Taiwan-Kinmen flights. This will add considerable value to the Kinmen-Taiwan trip. Uni Air suggests that, as a previous battlefield, Kinmen should take advantage of its mysterious quality, and develop a range of outdoor activities, such as Survival Games, etc. TransAsia Airways says they are considering the introducing a new flight from Magong to Kinmen, and then on to the mainland via Mini-Three-Links. It also suggests that Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, Inc. (KKL) designs delicate products to be sold on flights.
　 三家航空公司對李縣長所提共同促銷、異業結盟等方案，都表示樂於配合，而且分別提出創意與建設性意見。華信建議開放台金航線班機上可販賣免稅品，讓金門之旅「物超所值」。立榮建議金門應該保持戰地神秘色彩，並開發生存遊戲等多樣性活動。復興表示有意開發經馬公轉金門，循小三通往返大陸的航線，並建議金酒公司設計精品高粱酒在機上販售。
