夏豔金門花蛤季盛大開幕

"Kinmen has a world-class beach!" The 2011 Beautiful Summer In Kinmen-Jinhu Beach Clam Season kicked off on July 2nd. County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi introduced Kinmen in the opening ceremony and expressed his hope that the beach and the music, combined with romance, can give a warm welcome to both sides across the strait and further to the rest of the world.
世界一流的海岸就在金門！夏豔金門海洋風－金湖花蛤季七月二日在成功海灘開幕了；金門縣長李沃士希望讓金門漂亮的海洋與音樂、浪漫相結合，走出兩岸，迎向世界！

Jinhu Beach Clam Season was organized by the Kinmen County government and hosted by the Jin Hu Township office.A series of activities started on June 26th and will run until July 31st, with scheduled times each day from 3 pm to 10 pm.
金湖鎮海灘花蛤季活動是由金門縣政府、金湖鎮公所主辦。系列活動辦理的期程是從民國一百年六月廿六日到七月卅一日；時間為每天下午三時到十時。

Jin Hu Township Mayor, Cai, Xi-Hu (蔡西湖) said that the beauty of the beach and its series of activities are just like "the best wine which is often saved for the last." He hoped that it will provide everyone with a splendid summer. Councilman Zhou, Zi-Jie (周子傑) said that while construction is the motive force, the art activities are the soul of a city. He believed that the Jinhu Beach Clam Season is the soul of Jinhu Township. The Board Chairman of Astro Corp., (泰偉電子) Yang, Nan-Ping (楊南平) said that out of the 40 countries he has been to, he considered Kinmen's coast as world-class. Yang said, he had been to the clam season last year, and right now he is present at this special event, with plans to return again next year.
金湖鎮長蔡西湖表示，金門海洋風是好酒沈甕底，希望讓大家有個精彩的夏天。議員周子傑表示，建設是城巿動力，藝文是城巿靈魂－花蛤季就是金湖鎮的城巿靈魂。泰偉電子董事長楊南平表示，他走過四十幾個國家，對他而言，金門的海岸是世界一流的；金湖的花蛤季，他去年來，今年來，明年還要來！

Furthermore, the "Treasure Hunting Game," one of the series of events of the Beautiful Summer In Kinmen-Jinhu Beach Clam season, began at Cheng Gong Beach on the afternoon of July 2nd. It's estimated that over 2000 people were digging for clams and the hidden treasure at the same time, a sight that was nothing less than spectacular. Participants could receive a Clam Season memorial T-shirt, and a memorial hat. As long as the participants were able to discover the hidden "fairy in the bottle", each "fairy" could be exchanged for a digital camera.
此外，夏豔金門海洋風系列活動的「千人尋找沙中仙」二日下午在成功海灘登場，主辦單位估計共有二千多人同時在成功挖花蛤，場面十分壯觀。參與人員可以獲得花蛤季紀念T恤一件、紀念帽一頂。只要挖獲主辦單位預先埋置的瓶中仙子，每個瓶中仙可兌換數位相機一台。
