憨孫見阿嬤金戰營溫馨巧安排

On July 15th, at the end of the second group of "Kinmen Battle Camp," two Kinmenese children who grew up in Taiwan were sent to their grandparents' house for a short and warm reunion. Having not seen their grandchildren for a long time, at first sight, joyful and gracious (1) smiles broke out (2) on their faces. For them, this tender and ingenious (3) arrangement was a really special surprise and a unique gift.
第二梯次金門戰鬥營15日結訓之後，兩名在臺灣長大的金門囝仔，被安排以專車送到「阿嬤」、「阿祖」的家，讓祖孫們團聚片刻。老人家看到許久未曾見面的孫兒，露出欣喜的笑容；對老人家來說，這真是一個喜出望外的禮物。

The second group of the "Kinmen Battle Camp" was set on July 11th as the "D-Day," with training ending on the 15th. At the end of the military training on July 15th, Director of Political Warfare, Kinmen Defense Command, Major General Li, Zhi-Xiong (李智雄) realized that some of the participant trainees were Taiwan-raised Kinmenese, and with consent of the children, Li decided to send them to visit their grandparents.
　 中華民國一百年第二梯次的暑期金門戰鬥營是以七月十一日為行動發起日（D-Day），並於七月十五日結訓。金門防衛指揮部政戰主任李智雄（少將）在結訓之後，注意到學員中有自小在臺灣長大的金門囝仔，經他們同意後，立即備車送他們回到祖居地探望家裡的「阿祖」、「阿嬤」。

Major General Li said that paying a visit to their hometown is more valuable than just shopping or sight-seeing. He told all of the participant trainees that, according to old Chinese sayings, "One can only find loyal subjects (4) among filial (5) sons," and "Filial piety (6) is the source of all human virtues." He emphasized that, as long as elders are still with us, it is important to respect and honor them. He reminded all trainees to visit their elders often before it's too late.
　 李智雄表示，能回家看一看老人家，比接下來的觀光或買土產行程更加重要。他告訴全體學員，「忠臣出於孝子之門」、「百善孝為先」；在長輩還在時，應該好好孝順他們，常常陪伴他們－不要讓彼此有遺憾。

The students allowed to temporarily leave the camp for short reunions were Zheng, Feng-Yi (鄭豐譯) from Sieh-Chih Vocational High School, and Jiang, Min-Feng (江旻峰), a graduate of Lee-Ming Institute of Technology.
　 獲准暫時脫隊回家省親的學員有就讀協志高職的鄭豐譯和黎明技術學院畢業的江旻峰。
