世界金門日十月登場李縣長拜會外交部懇請支持

Kinmen County will host the 4th "World Kinmen Day" in the glorious October in which the national anniversary will also be held. County Mayor Li, Wo-Shih traveled to Taiwan to visit the Vice Minister of MOFA for assisting foreign guests and overseas compatriots (1) and celebrities in transiting for Kinmen. Vice Minister, Mr. Shen, Ssu-Tsun, MOFA, will arrange necessary measures for coordination and subsidize (2) the funds for hosting this event guests.
　 金門縣將於光輝十月盛大舉辦「第四屆世界金門日」活動，縣長李沃士昨天赴台，他特別拜會外交部次長沈斯淳，建請協助接待到金門的外賓和旅外僑領鄉親。沈斯淳表示，外交部樂於配合，並將在經費與人員接待上酌予協助。

Led by Mayor Li, Wo-Shih, the County Chief Secretary, Yang, Chung-Chiang, and Social Affair Bureau Chief Fang, Tien-Chi and Social Administration Division Deputy Director Li, Wen-Tui also visited the MOFA. County Mayor Li, Wo-Shih reported to the Vice Minister that Kinmen County will hold the 4th "World Kinmen Day" for 3 days between October 15th and 17th and has already invited global overseas Kinmen compatriots for attending this grand event. It is estimated more than 1,000 compatriots will come back to homeland Kinmen. Meanwhile, the invitation list also includes prominent (3) Malaysian and Singaporean entrepreneurs Mr. Yang Chung-Li, and Mr. Huang, Eric and many other prominent patriotism celebrities.
　 縣長李沃士是在昨天下午四時，由機要秘書楊忠強、縣府社會局長方天吉及社政課代理課長李文堆等人陪同下。前往外交部拜會。李沃士向外交部次長表示，金門訂於十月十五日至十七日三天，舉辦第四屆世界金門日，並廣邀海內外金門鄉親返回故鄉參與，估計有上千人齊聚金門，並力邀事業有成的馬來西亞僑領楊忠禮、新加坡黃祖耀等金門旅外企業家返金共襄盛舉。

Mayor Li, Wo-Shih said that Kinmen County will expand this annual grand event celebration scale by means of rolling out more various activities. He invites senior officers of MOFA to arrive in Kinmen for offering consultancy and aspires for MOFA assistance for more comprehensive hosting proposals.
　 李沃士說，世界金門日是金門年度盛事，今年更是擴大舉辦，有多項熱鬧的活動配合推出；他邀請外交部長官蒞臨金門指導，也希望外交部協助更周全的外賓接待計畫。

After inquiries, Vice Minister, Shen, Ssu-Tsun realizes overseas Kinmen compatriots top about 1 million and most stay in South East Asian countries. He expressed that the branches of MOFA in South East Asia countries have maintained close relationship with local Kinmen compatriots and frequently introduce the Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor to foreigners, especially preferred by Japanese and Korean guests. MOFA will keep on the propaganda for Kinmen County.
　 外交部次長沈斯淳詢問得知旅外金門鄉親約有一百萬人，而且旅居東南亞國家比例甚多，他表示，外交部駐東南亞國家的單位與金門當地鄉親也頗有接觸，在外交部宴會場合，也常推銷金門高粱酒給外賓，日本、韓國等外賓都很喜歡喝金門高粱，今後外交部也將繼續推銷金門。

During the interviewing with County Mayor Li, Wo-Shih, Vice Minister Shen Shen, Ssu-Tsun wishes all the best and success for Kinmen's hosting the 4th "World Kinmen Day" and instructed the responsible personnel of the Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs shall devote to assisting Kinmen county in the hosting affairs and shall appropriate proper subsidy.
　 在與李沃士會中，沈斯淳預祝世界金門日順利圓滿成功，並指示亞太司等所屬人員，盡力協助世界金門日的外賓接待工作，並酌予經費補助。

County Mayor Li, Wo-Shih will visit Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission, Executive Yuan today for gaining more subsidy and also assistance for overseas Kinmen compatriots coming back to attend this grand event "World Kinmen Day".
　 另，縣長李沃士今天將拜會行政院僑務委員會，爭取相關補助，並協助旅外金僑返鄉參與世界金門日。
