鐵馬樂活遊千人全島走透透

Although it was a misty day with drizzle (1) from the sky, it could not restrain more than a thousand of bike enthusiasts from participating in this activity "2011 A Thousand of People Biking in Kinmen County Happily" in the early morning yesterday. Kinmen County Government Chief Secretary Lu, Jhih-Huei even led all the participants to take an oath to lose weight and reduce fat, encouraging county people to do exercise and ride bicycles more, so as to ride for health and happiness and "donate" their "fat". This aimed to achieve the goal of reducing 2.8 tons of fat collectively throughout the entire county, according to the proportion of the population of this area.
濃霧加上天空飄下小雨，但擋不住昨日一大清早參加「2011金門縣千人鐵馬樂活遊」活動的一千多位自行車愛好民眾，金門縣政府主任秘書盧志輝更帶領參加者進行全民減重宣誓，鼓勵縣民多運動和騎自行車，以騎出健康幸福，並把「油」(肥肉)捐出來，期以地區依人口數比例，全縣將共同減重二點八噸目標努力。

In this activity "A Thousand of People Biking in Kinmen County Happily" on the "National Bike Day" for creating a sports island in 2011, the 1,031 registered participants reported in and gathered at the rear square of Kinmen County Stadium from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. yesterday. After they finished doing warming-up exercise and after the host unit reminded them of the notice of safety, County Government Chief Secretary Lu, Jhih-Huei, on behalf of County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi who went to Taiwan for official business, hosted the oath-taking ceremony for all people's fat reduction as well as the activation ceremony for Kinmen's public bicycles.
一百年打造運動島「全國自行車日」金門縣千人鐵馬樂活遊活動，昨日上午六時三十分至七時在金門縣立體育場後側廣場報到、集合後，一千零三十一位報名參加者，也在做完暖身操和主辦單位提醒安全注意事項後，由縣府主任秘書盧志輝代表因公赴台的縣長李沃士，主持全民減重宣誓、金門公共自行車啟用儀式。

The representatives of Bureau of Health Promotion, County Government Education Bureau Director-general Li, Tsai-Hang, Division Chief Hsu, Neng-Li, Public Health Bureau Vice Director-general Li, Jin-Zhi, County Stadium Director-general Hsu, Huan-Sheng, Jincheng Township Mayor Shih, Chao-Min, Jinning Township Mayor Chen, Cheng-Yung, and Huang, Ko-Piao the Chief Commissioner of Kinmen County Sports Cycling Association, as well as 33 members of the Cycling Fitness Association from Shishi City in Fujian in Mainland China, all came to the scene.
　 到場參與的還有國民健康局代表、縣府教育局長李再杭、課長許能麗、衛生局副局長李金治、縣立體育場場長許換生、金城鎮長石兆 、金寧鄉長陳成勇，以及金門縣自由車運動委員會主任委員黃克標和三十三位來自大陸福建石獅市自行車健身協會成員等。

In his speech, Lu, Jhih-Huei said that Kinmen is the most suitable place for people to travel by bicycle, because it has good mountains and water, as well as highly-intensive transportation networks, smooth terrain (2) and agreeable landscape. Besides, the county government has been promoting the cycling sport for many years, and now it even promotes travelling Kinmen by bicycle. Five hundreds of Kinmen County's brand-new public bicycles (with 6 gears) have been provided for people to borrow. This aimed to fully create Kinmen to be the sports island for energy saving and carbon reduction, by combining tourism development with the promotion of bike travel.
　 盧志輝在致詞時，也以金門有好山好水，加上密度高的公路，又地形平順，景色怡人，最適合自行車旅遊，且縣府推廣自行車運動多年，現在更推廣騎乘自行車遊玩金門，提供全新五百輛金門縣公共自行車(六段變速)供借用，是期結合觀光發展推動鐵馬樂活遊，全力打造金門為節能減碳運動島。

In this activity "A Thousand of People Biking in Kinmen County Happily", being led by Lu, Jhih-Huei and after shouting out the slogan, the participants immediately proceeded to undertake the island-wide biking activity for 54 km. The bike team had the following route: Set off at the rear square of the Stadium (starting point) →Beiti Road→ Jinshan Road→ (Ho-Ping Community) Turn left to Huandao South Road→ Turn left to Pan-ko Road→ Turn right to Taoyuan Road→ Section 3, Huandao South Road →Jingwu Road→ Turn right to Section 1, Taihu Road→ Xinshi Traffic Circle→ (Take a 15-minute rest at the Livestock Research Institute→ Xicun →Turn left to Section 5, Huandao East Road→ (Xibian) Turn left to Section 4, Huandao East Road→ (Shamei) Turn right to Sha-Ching Road→ Wu-Keng → Xiyuan→ Huan-Yantian Road→ Tiandun Sea Wall→ Yangshan→ Houzhai→ (Take a 15-minute rest at Herpuu Elementary School) →Huandao North Road→ (Cyonglin) Turn right to Qiong'an Road → (Anqi) →Shanzao →Turn left at Huandao West Road→ Turn right to Puhou and the country road at Xiapuxia→ (Chang-Hung) → Turn left to Cihu Road→ (Compatriots' Home) Turn right→ Perimeter Road at An-Ho New Village→ In front of Fujian Province Government → The basketball court near the gate to Jin Cheng Junior High School (destination).
而千人鐵馬樂活遊活動，參加人員在盧志輝帶領下，高呼口號後，隨即展開五十四公里的全島鐵馬樂活遊。車隊由體育場後廣場（起點）出發→北堤路→金山路→（和平社區）左轉環島南路→左轉盤果路→右轉桃園路→環島南路3段→經武路→右轉太湖路1段→新市圓環→（在畜試所休息十五分鐘）→西村→左轉環島東路5段→（溪邊）左轉環島東路4段→（沙美）右轉沙青路→浯坑→西園→環鹽田路→田墩海堤→洋山→后宅→（在何浦國小休息十五分鐘）→環島北路→（瓊林）右轉瓊安路→（安岐）→山灶→環島西路左轉→右轉埔後、下埔下間村道→（長鴻）→左轉慈湖路→（華僑之家）右轉→安和新村外環道→福建省政府前→金城國中校門口籃球場（終點）。

Because of the heavy fog, the Traffic Police Corps at Kinmen County Police Office were all mobilized (3) to control traffic at each main traffic intersection. The members of the County Police Office's Powerful Gale (4) Bike Team also jointed this activity and served as the volunteer team leaders. The participant persons commented that it is so fresh and cool to ride bicycles in the fog; they could also appreciate the misty beauty of Kinmen; this was so healthful, leisure, and environmentally-friendly. In this activity "A Thousand of People Biking in Kinmen County Happily", a lucky draw activity was held at the basketball court near the gate to Jin Cheng Junior High School at about noon. Many prizes were also provided, including 14 awards and 103 prizes. This also added much interest and fun to the event.
　 由於出現濃霧，金門縣警察局交通隊總動員，在各主要交通路口管制交通，縣警局疾風勁旅自行車隊並擔任領隊志工。參加的民眾認為霧中騎自行車十分涼爽，還能欣賞金門矇矓美，健康休閒又環保。而千人鐵馬樂活遊並在近中午於城中校門口籃球場舉行摸彩活動，彩品也相當豐富，共有十四個獎項，一百零三份彩品，也讓活動辦來增添不少趣味和助興。
