環局提醒大家善盡地球公民責任

With the World Earth Day incoming on June 5th, Kinmen county Environment Protection Bureau will hold a "Low Carbon Biking Circling Kinmen Education For you and Me" Activity. This activity also includes education seminars and a garden party, offering electronic-motorcycle, electronic-bike, electronic-automobile and electronic-bus trial riding and the exhibition for electronic vehicle batter converter. It is hope that people's enthusiasm attendance can contribute to the success of this activity.
六月五日世界地球日，在金門縣環保局將舉辦「世界地球日│低碳綠能金門島，環境教育我行動」環境教育課程暨園遊會活動，辦理有電動機車、電動自行車、電動車及電動巴士的試乘體驗，以及電動車電池交換機的展示，歡迎民眾屆時踴躍到場參加。

According to the latest survey statistics, Kinmen county Environment Protection indicates that there have cut approximately 11 billion trees in the world and released more than 8 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the atmospheric layer annually. With the World Earth Day incoming on June 5th, people shall use low-pollution transportation including biking, electronic-bike, electronic-motor or public transportation system to fulfill the obligation for earth protection.
金門縣環保局指出，根據統計，每年全球約有一百一十億棵樹木被砍伐，八十億公噸的二氧化碳釋放到大氣中。而六月五日是世界地球日，希望民眾以行動做起，響應低污染工具上路，騎乘單車、電動自行車、電動機車或搭乘大眾運輸工具，為地球盡一份心力。

Environment Protection Bureau indicated that the ever-increasing carbon dioxide and methane release into the atmospheric layer is the major cause for deteriorating global warming. The annual personal carbon dioxide exhaust discharge volume in Taiwan averages up to 12 tons, 3 times the global average volume. Especially Taiwan's annual exhaust discharge volume growth rate ranks the top 1 in the world. Therefore, low-pollution transportation vehicles for reducing exhaust discharge would be the best solution.
環保局指出，地球大氣層中二氧化碳、甲烷等溫室氣體增加是氣候變暖的主因，台灣每人二氧化碳平均排放量為十二噸，是全球每人平均三點九公噸的三倍，而排放量年成長率更高居全球第一，如何減少此類氣體的排放，低污染運輸交通工具將是最佳的選擇。

Environment Protection Bureau will hold "Low Carbon Green Energy for Kinmen Island and Eco Protection For You and Me" activity from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on the World Earth Day, June 5th. It is proposed to offer trial riding of electronic motorcycle, electronic bikes, and electronic buses and exhibition of electronic vehicle batter converters to assist people in understanding the electronic vehicles features not only energy saving but also excellent cruising range and slope-climbing capacity without any disadvantages of the old generation products. A subsidy between NT$ 8,000~11,000 is available for procurement of TES Certification electronic vehicles or motorcycles certified by Industrial Bureau. Moreover, annual license tax and fuel tax can also be exempt. It is a pretty worthy and economic deal.
　 環保局表示，六月五日上午九時起至下午一時舉辦的「世界地球日─低碳綠能金門島，環境教育我行動」活動，將有電動機車、電動自行車、電動車及電動巴士的試乘體驗及電動車電池交換機的展示，讓民眾更了解電動車輛的特性，不再是續航力、爬坡力差。另外民眾購買工業局認證TES電動機車可獲得八千元至一萬一千元補助，此外全年免牌照稅及燃料稅，更有安全上的保障。

Environment Protection Bureau indicates that there are 28 free-service electricity charging stations in Kinmen county (located at Kinmen County Environment Protection Bureau, Chuan Long Motorcycle Shop, County Government, Kinchen Town Office, Kinchen Bus Station, Kinshui Primary School, Cheng-Kin-Fu Kinmen Peanut Candy Shop, Kin-Yuan-Li Knife Factory, County Civil Officer Cooperative Supermarket, Saint-Zhu Kinmen Peanut Candy shop, County Fishery Research Institute, Ou-Chin Ancient House, W Zhou Porcelain Arts Shop, Li-Kuang-Chen General Temple, County Porcelain Factory, Kinfu Town Office, County Health Bureau, Banyan Tree Garden, Folk Culture Village, Yi Mountain Temple, Juguan Harbor, Liu Island County Cooperative Supermarket, Sage Goddess Temple (Red Kaoliang Liquor General Factory),Min-Yang Motorcycle Shop, Hsin-Chin-Yueh Motorcycle Shop, Taiwan Power Company's Business Service Branch. Electricity charging shall be pretty convenient in Kinmen.
　 環保局表示，金門縣內目前有二十八座充電站（地點在金門縣環保局、全隆機車行、金門縣政府、金城鎮公所、金城車站、金水國小前、陳金福號貢糖、金永利製刀廠、金門縣公教員工合作社、聖祖貢糖、金門縣水產試驗所、歐厝古厝、浯州陶藝、李光前將軍廟、金門縣陶瓷廠、金湖鎮公所、金門縣衛生局、榕園、民俗文化村、鶯山廟、九宮碼頭、烈嶼縣聯社、烈女廟（紅高粱總廠）、名陽機車行、新敬業機車行、台電營業處）可供民眾免費使用，可說是相當便利。

Environment Protection Bureau also indicates that for building Kinmen as a low carbon production island, both county and central Environment Protection Bureau will offer subsidy for procurement of electronic vehicles NT$ 3,000 and 5,000 respectively in this year. In case of replacing old two-stroke motorcycle by buying a new electronic on, it will be eligible for gaining the subsidy of NT$ 3,000 from central Environment Protection Agency, a subsidy ranging between NTE8,000 and 10,000 from Industrial Bureau of MOEA. The total subsidy will amount to between NT$16,000 and NT$ 19,000. Such a procurement would save lots of money and also contribute to energy saving. County Environment Protection Bureau urges everybody regard the environment protection as daily obligation instead of only one day on June 5th. We shall fulfill the environment protection obligation in every day for promoting world carbon reduction like any global villager in the whole world.
　 環保局表示，落實做環保並不用侷限在六月五日當天，平日我們就可以從小處作起，在日常生活中實踐環保，以實際的行動加入減緩地球暖化的行列，善盡地球公民一份子的責任。
