Hello! My name is Garles. I was born in Kinmen, and I study at Jincheng Junior High School. I am thirteen years old, and I enjoy learning different things. I learned to play the tuba when I was nine years old. Music makes me feel relaxed, and I forget about unhappy things when I play it.
During the last summer vacation, many of my friends visited Australia. They shared that the trip was a lot of fun. They made many new friends, stayed with host families, and experienced the local culture. After hearing about their experiences, I hope to have the opportunity to participate in this program and visit Australia. I want to learn about the local culture, taste the local food, and observe the local animals, such as Tasmanian devils and wombats.
I want to participate in an international exchange program because this activity will allow me to step out of Kinmen. The world is big and full of places worth discovering. I look forward to stepping out of my comfort zone, leaving my hometown, and discovering more beautiful things.

在去年的暑假，很多我的朋友去了澳大利亞。他們分享說這次旅行非常快樂。他們結交了很多新朋友，住在寄宿家庭，並體驗了當地的文化。聽完他們的經歷後，我希望有機會參加這個計劃，去澳大利亞，了解當地的文化，品嚐當地的食物，並觀察當地的動物，比如塔斯馬尼亞惡魔和袋熊。
我想參加國際交流計劃，因為這項活動讓我有機會走出金門。世界這麼大，充滿了值得探索的地方。我期待著走出我的舒適區，離開我的家鄉，發現更多美麗的事物。
