李沃士就職週年：將迎四海人才造金門明珠

December 20th marked the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of County Magistrate Li, Wo-Shi (李沃士). He expressed his sincere appreciation in a press conference on that day and said he looks forward with great expectation to the bright future of Kinmen. Working carefully and cautiously everyday for the past year, Li says that by going forward he will bring together talents (1) worldwide and, in his greatest effort and in full gratitude, transform Kinmen into a stunning (2) pearl that shines on the world's stage.
縣長李沃士20日就職屆滿週年，他特別召開記者會，表達真摯的感謝，對金門未來發展也表達了深切的期許。李沃士表示，他在過去一年的每一天，他都兢兢業業的努力打拚，未來他將用感恩的心，迎四海之人才，全力打造金門成為國際舞台上最耀眼的明珠。

Magistratei Li said that all the policy targets brought out during the election campaign have been developed and implemented into 63 projects, all of which are under consistent management and regular review. He also listed the major achievements of the county government team during the past one-year term, including: formulating tourism development, establishing efficient traffic infrastructure, realizing a high-level welfare society, perfecting healthcare quality, and building an eco-friendly (2) homeland, etc.
　 李沃士表示，「建設金門，福利鄉親」是他競選時提出的願景，希望在任內能領導縣政團隊，將金門建設成一個「收入高所得」、「環境高品質」、「生命高保障」的幸福島嶼。競選期間提出的政見，已彙整成為63項計畫，均列管並定期檢討。他在記者會中逐項說明2010年縣府的十大項重要施政成果，包括：型塑特色觀光，加速交通建設，實現福利社會，完善醫療品質，建構綠色家園等。

Li also gave a presentation of the major tasks for 2011 during the press conference, including: the implementation of the Industrial and Business Park BOT Project, the execution of Commerce Hotel Project in Jinhu Township BOT Project, the realization of "Kinmen University Island" plan, the accommodation for the incoming mainland students, the pursuit of Kinmen Harbor Docks Development, the improvement of water resource availability, the development of Huagangshi (literally Granite) Duty Free Area, the formulation of the Three Major Festivals Subsidies for the 823 artillery bombardment veterans (20,000 NT per person during each festival) Policy, etc.
此外，李沃士也在記者會中針對民國100年的重點工作提出說明，包括推動金門大橋建設；辦理金門縣工商休閒園區案；推動金湖鎮商務旅館BOT案；推動金門大學島規劃，提供宿舍招收陸生；推動金門商港港埠建設；開發水資源；研議花崗石免稅園區；規劃發放823砲戰參戰老兵三節津貼（每節2萬元）案等。
