全版電子化金門日報邁入新里程

Kinmen Daily News'(KMDN) full-scale electronic version went online February 1st. From now on, readers will be able to browse(1) the same layout(2) online as they do in the printed version. The website of "Digital Reading Network for Kinmen Daily" is archive.kmdn.gov.tw/kmdnnews/.
金門日報社（本社）的整版電子化報紙二月一日上線了！讀者可在網路上看到與紙本相同的全版電子報。「金門日報－電子報紙數位閱讀網」的網址為「archive.kmdn.gov.tw/kmdnnews/」。

In order to serve internet users, KMDN converted its daily printed newspaper, including its various sections, into an electronic newspaper and put it on the website for readers to browse online. When browsing the electronic KMDN, readers can enjoy the same experience as reading the printed version. The on-line paper provides the main layout which contains Kinmen Daily's main news sections and enables readers to stay up-to-date with important daily news.
為服務網路族群，金門日報社（本社）將每日發行的各版報紙轉換成整版的電子化報紙，提供線上閱覽。在網路上看電子《金門日報》，也有看紙本《金門日報》的版面效果。電子報紙中包含了金門日報主要新聞版面，可以讓訂閱者不會漏接每日的重要新聞。

KMDN's electronic newspaper is only available to members of its readers' club. Membership is divided into "General Members" and "VIP members." Being enrolled as a "General Member" authorizes readers to browse the front page online for free. If readers are interested in the entire content of the electronic newspaper, they can download the application form and apply for VIP membership.
　 本社所發行的電子報紙是採會員制提供閱覽，區分為「一般會員」及「VIP會員」。一般會員為免費會員，加入一般會員者，可以試閱「第一版」的報紙內容。如果對電子報紙全部內容都有興趣，可下載申請書，申請成為「VIP會員」。

The goal of the "Digital Reading Network for Kinmen Daily," is to informatize,(3) digitalize, and diversify the services of the paper in order to better serve its numerous on-line readers.
藉由電子報紙數位閱讀網的建置，金門日報社（本社）希望朝向資訊化、數位化、多元化發展，為眾多的網路族群提供服務。

●1. browse--（vt.）瀏覽、翻閱。此處特別指透過網路瀏覽器來閱讀。也因此選用browse，而非常見的read。
●2. layout--（n）此處指報紙的版面編排及版面設計。
●3. informatize--（vt.）使~資訊化。
